HOW TO DEAL WITH CYBERBULLYING IN SCHOOLS?  

Cyber bullying is a huge problem nowadays between students due to the facilities that social networks offer them to hide their identity and bully other students. It is one of the most frequent ways used of bullying that in many cases happen without control of teachers or parents hiding threats behind the screen which can contribute to create a psychological damage on students. Cyber bullying can be even worse for the victims than the physical one and also it is easy for stalkers to keep all their actions in a secretly way. This issue is trying to be prevented in schools and high schools thanks to educative approach devised by the educative centres or different universities. One disadvantage is for example how kids can get distracted while they are searching on the internet for information and they start watching images or videos with inexistence relation.
Overall, thanks to this video and in general, thanks to the link, we can understand without problems what ICT is and how it can be used.

We have used this video as an introduction to our topic because we thought it was really good for explaining how ICT works and how we should use all the possibilities we have. They are speaking about the education in Norway and some other northern countries and how they have reached that.
They speak about the importance of student motivation for a good work and how teachers should encourage their students.

In this one, we’ve got information about the 21st century education and how it could be improved. We can see how they include information about social networks and about how many videos, photos or friends we see or follow around the world each day.
We can find information about timetables in different countries and some example of countries where they can use phones or tablets during school classes. In Denmark for example they can use computers while they are on an exam, they just can’t talk to each other or send messages during those tests but they are allowed to use Facebook too.

This video shows the importance that technologies have in nowadays society and also in education. It is giving an example of a school which uses technology to the highest standard and in innovative ways so that learners and the community benefit.
